Hi. I wondered what I was going to use this space for. I wrestled with being deep and profound, or my normal goofy self, or perhaps put in a nice poem or song lyric. But I know what I chose is the BEST use for this page. We should give out our flowers while our recipients are still able to smell them. So, this is not my page- it is YOUR page, expressing my gratitude to all who have given prayers, vote support, forwarded emails, told friends at work, at church, (at random!) and please understand that my fingers would fall off if I typed in everyone who helped.
I thank God, of course, most of all, just for being Him! In addition I thank Him for His love and for keeping me from day to day, and for the ministering talents that He has given all of us for unbeknown reasons. Secondly, I thank my wonderful husband who I know beyond a shadow of a doubt God sent to me Special Delivery. I thank my church and my job, who have made me feel like a superstar! I thank my wonderful family who have been pushing me ever since I was 3. I never thought that I would get so much support from my "competitors".. (I use that term loosely because although there is one "winner" of Sunday Best we all are in this together, and we all are winners because we are all more than conquerors!) ..but I thank you all and thank voting members who have put in their time and effort everyday blessing quite a few people. My gratitude goes out to ALL of you- and to fellow cast members, it really shows where your heart is when you push other members to get votes. The world needs more of that kind of spirit.
Thank you all! I can't thank you enough! Here is my daily prayer to everyone involved in this competiton..

Dear God,
I give praise to You just for who You are.
You are all knowing, all powerful, and all present.

We thank You for this opportunity to take our ministry to a national level. Thank You for all the individuals who put this contest together. Thank You for the support of our families, friends, and each other.

Thank You for helping us understand the meaning of faith, diligence, patience, determination, and compassion.

Thank You for life You gave to us, and thank You for our talents that we give back to You.

We ask that You give us patience from day to day,
Touch the hearts of our voters and those yet to vote for us.

Please God, remove anything that is not of You from us! Please help us to stay focused on You, and not be swayed by negativity. Help us to be our own encouragement.

Help us improve our ministry, so that we may represent you in the best way possible. May our singing be a sweet sound in Your ear, a tool for those who are unsaved, and a motivation for those who are.

And Lord, Even if You never did another thing for us, we are still grateful, for what You have already done has far surpassed what we deserve! No matter what, my heart, my life, my voice, is in Your hands.

We thank You in Jesus' name. Amen.
